The Aqua Pure 1200 is a high quality, long-lasting fiberglass filter. Its compact size makes it suitable for small pond installations where space is at a premium. Its unique state of the art four-chamber design incorporates up-flow/down-flow filtration. Two waste drainage sumps make cleaning quick, simple and easy. This design requires significantly less maintenance than pressurized bead filtration systems. The water aeration spray bar inlet insures oxygen.
Suitable for koi pond systems up to 1500 gallons and a maximum flow rate of 800 gallons per hour. However, with lighter stock densities or a garden pond application the AP 1200 will comfortably cope with larger pond volumes.
Maximum flow rate 800 gallons per hour;
Inlet size ½ to 1 ½ (flexible or rigid) Outlet 2 (rubber coupling or rigid).

This design principal maximizes the power (use) of gravity encouraging solids to settle in the waste sump at the base (bottom) of each chamber and not in the filtration media. Each chamber can be independently drained to remove the accumulated waste with a minimal amount of water loss. A freestanding vortex or sieve can be incorporated into the overall filtration design if necessary.
