The Clear Stream range (UV and non-UV) of filters can be buried in the ground with only the lid exposed. Unlike most pressurized filters, the hoses are connected to the body of the filter and not to the lid.
This design feature enables the removal of the lid for cleaning without having to disconnect the hoses. This makes cleaning a simple, effortless and quick task.
For ponds up to 600 US gallons with a max. flow rate of 300 US gallons per hour.
Unlike most external pond filters, Clear Stream Filters are designed to be fitted in line, between the pond pump and the pond or water feature. Conventional pond filter boxes require a gravity water return to the pond and must be installed above the water level.
Clear Stream Filters may be conveniently and unobtrusively fitted at levels lower than the pond water level or at the base of a waterfall or water feature, but should not be sited more than 2m below the pond or water feature.
