The Aqua Pure 1200 is a high quality, long-lasting fiberglass filter. Its compact size makes it suitable for small pond installations where space is at a premium. Its unique state of the art four-chamber design incorporates up-flow/down-flow filtration. Two waste drainage sumps make cleaning quick, simple and easy. This design requires significantly less maintenance than pressurized bead filtration systems. The water aeration spray bar inlet insures oxygen enriched water maximizes the biological activity within the filter. Suitable for koi pond systems up to 1500 gallons and a maximum flow rate of 800 gallons per hour. However, with lighter stock densities or a garden pond application the AP 1200 will comfortably cope with larger pond volumes. The Aqua Pure 1200 is supplied with filter brushes, blue Japanese matting, Flocor and reticulated foam, as a pump fed/gravity return filtration system. Our selection of media types are chosen to achieve maximum biological and mechanical filtration performance, although this filter is available without media for pond keepers who prefer alternative filter media or have existing mature filter media. We can (by request) custom-build this filter with your choice of media.
Koi pond size: 1500 gallons (4 chamber) 18 x 18 x 16 deep; Maximum flow rate 800 gallons per hour; Inlet size ½ to 1 ½ (flexible or rigid) Outlet 2 (rubber coupling or rigid). Without filter media.

However, they can also be used with the standard range of primary Vortex filters. Filter media sold seperately.
